Cetelem, leader in consumer finance in Continental Europe appoints Nicolas Laporte as CFO of Cetelem in Russia.

In this role he will manage financial activities of the company including financial planning and reporting, budgeting and control, procurement and office administration.

Nicolas Laporte brings more than 11 years extensive international experience in financial management with leading world companies to the role. Prior to joining Cetelem Nicolas Laporte worked for Ford Motor Company and Ford Credit (1996-2007) in France, UK and Russia where he made a career from a financial analyst to the Finance director of Ford Russia in Moscow. In this position he was fully responsible for a wide range of financial management activities including financial analysis and strategic planning, purchasing and internal control, US GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley compliance etc.

Nicolas Laporte graduated from the Institut Supérieur de Gestion (Paris) in 1995 and terminated a Master Degree in Finance from ESCP-EAP in 2005. Nicolas speaks fluent French (mother tongue), English, and Spanish and learns Russian.
